Fragrance story:
This fragrance explores a contrast between dark richness and light powder. The perfumer, Aurélien Guichard, envisioned “a contrast between a dark vanilla and a white palo santo wood.” At its heart lies vanilla absolute from Madagascar, reinforced in the Extrait version with tonka bean absolute to deepen the vanilla’s voluptuous character. Coconut powder and white musks wrap the core, and palo santo oil brings structure and verticality.  The result is a perfume that doesn’t lean into typical gourmand sweetness, but instead offers a luminous, powdery vanilla that feels both intimate and bold.
