What it is:
Ardent by Boadicea the Victorious is a passionate Oriental-Woody / Floral Eau de Parfum launched in 2012 and created by perfumer Christian Provenzano. It weaves together rose, saffron, beeswax, and creamy woods to evoke the intensity of deep love and longing.

Fragrance story:
Ardent is described as “a passionate, glowing perfume, with cindered roses and molten beeswax at its heart.” It opens with spicy warmth (coriander, carrot seed) layered over vibrant Turkish rose and saffron.  In its heart, beeswax and jasmine join the rose, lending a honeyed and velvety texture.  The base is anchored by vanilla, patchouli, oud, amber, benzoin, labdanum, and musk, giving depth, warmth, and lingering sensuality.
